1 . Visit  page here https://www.avast.com/en-in/index

2. Now click on “Download Free Antivirus”

3. The software will start downloading now. Its a 154 MB File

4. Now after installing the antivirus, you will need to activate it for 1 year and to receive the activation key, follow the below steps –

a) Visit product key page here https://www.avast.com/en-in/registration-free-antivirus.php

b) Enter your name, email and country

c) Click on “Register for Free License Key”

d) That’s it !! You will now get a success message and activation key will be sent to your email id which you provided. If you do not receive your license within 24 hours, please check your junk or SPAM folder

How to redeem the license key ?

1. Open your avast! Free Antivirus controls and select the “Settings” tab.

2. Next, click the “Registration” tab.

3. Click the arrow next to “Offline registration” to expand this option.

4. Click the “Insert the license key” button.

5. Right-click in the empty Registration box and select “Paste”.

6. Click “OK” – your license key is now inserted and your avast! antivirus software can now be used free of charge for a further 12 months.
